What have you heard about Felisha Savard?
Welcome everyone! Let’s learn about Felisha and her awesome collaboration project.
Hi Felisha! Please introduce yourself and share five fun facts!
Hey everyone ! I am a mom of three, 1 boy, and two girls. I’ve been creating in many different varieties for over 15 years, digital and traditional. I had open-heart surgery three years ago!
What can you tell me about your current book project?
I actually have two books on the go but the main focus is the one that is my historic erotic fantasy.
What was it like working in a collaboration?
Well, it was with two close friends of mine, so I got to see where the mindsets were and how their ideas worked with mine.
What was the biggest challenge of working as a co-writer? The biggest victory?
Waiting to get the book back to write my next piece!
I think the biggest victory will be when I go to publish it because it will be a big thing for all three of us.
What is your favourite part about writing in the historic/erotica genre? What is the most challenging part?
It gets your mind whirling, and lets you come up with your own ideas of what the character looks like and it lets you play it out like your own movie.
The challenge is typing everything up because it is all currently handwritten.
What do you enjoy the most about the fantasy-magic and LGBTQ themes explored in the book?
I enjoy the fact because I believe that the LGBTQ has its place in the day to day and a lot of people may not agree, but did you know there have actually been gay royals in history?
Do you have favourite characters in the book?
I think I am biased on this because I more like the relationship certain characters have created with each other, but I would say that my favourite would be Queen Amelia and Duchess Elara.
What do you hope readers will gain from the experience of reading your book?
The want to continue to read as I am hoping to turn this into a series.
What has been your favourite thing about being a writer?
Being able to create my own worlds and scenes.
What other themes do you wish you could explore in writing?
Horror, thriller, and educational.
Do you have advice for authors aspiring in this genre?
Things may seem tough at times, but keep pushing through, it will come out with something great!
Any last thoughts your readers should know about you and your book?
There is a lot going on but you get the see where everything is going and what is happening with all the characters.
