What are you thankful for? Happy Thanksgiving!
Gone are my days of making hand turkeys in elementary school and decorating the classroom with orange and yellow leaves. Gone is my youthful naivety not realizing what this day really means. Thanksgiving falls in October in Canada, so no, my American friends, I am not getting ahead of myself. I want to use this post to thank everyone who is supporting me through my career and reading my blog. This day is one of family and togetherness and remembering how lucky we are.
What Else Am I Thankful For?
TURKEY – My family never lets me take my serving of turkey first. I have to let everyone else get some first, or only take a little bit. It is my weakness. I could eat a whole turkey by myself, even if it killed me.
LOVED ONES – You know who you are. Of course I’m going to be thankful for the people in my life who give me love and hope that I can live a great life. Many people have come and gone in my life, but the ones that matter will stay with me forever.
CAREER – I’m so fortunate to make a career out of the one thing I love doing the most. I have the freedom to make my own schedule, choose what I work on, and create masterpieces to share around the world.
CANADA – I’m lucky to live in a country that offers so many benefits for quality living. It’s absolutely NOT perfect, but I’ve never gone without food or a place to sleep, and not everyone can say that.
Spread the Love
I know what I have and I know what I can offer. I wish everyone a great holiday with their families! Happy Thanksgiving *gobble gobble*
