Here are a few things that encompass my happiness. What about yours?
Among all the chaos and misery that 2020 has brought, I’d like to remind everyone that there is still so much we have to be thankful for. Here are some of the things that make me happy. Feel free to share yours in the comments below!
Everyone has people, family and friends that they love and connect with on a daily basis (or at least try to). I wouldn’t be the person I am without the people in my life who I learn from every day. They guide me to better myself and challenge me with new ideas to grow. For me, this includes my boyfriend, my family, my best friends, my readers (not necessarily in that order, everyone is equally important). I love them with all my heart and I hope that our relationships are continually positive, healing, and open.
Creativity in My Happiness
For me, creativity is writing, music, and reading. Writing has always been my deepest passion. I want to create new worlds and inspire people with words, if not just entertain them. Music also inspires me, and I love just about every genre. Acoustic is what I adore the most, but my tastes are very song specific and it depends on my mood. If the song is good, I can feel it in my whole body. Lastly, I can’t be a writer without being an avid reader. Transporting to a new place and making new friends in a world created by my favourite authors. My favourites are mystery and thriller, but I love branching out and exploring other genres.
What kind of crazy person would say that adorable animals DON’T make them happy? I’ve always loved dogs, especially when they’re soft and cuddly. My favourite animal for the longest time was the koala bear because they’re so cute and chill. Then it was horses, giraffes, then foxes. I just love animals! Who doesn’t appreciate such beautiful creatures of the world?
